Booking Through Thursday: Light Reading
What’s the lightest, most “fluff” kind of book you’ve read recently?I suppose the lightest read I've had recently is Sophie Kinsella's Twenties Girl, which I read around the first week of August. It's about this girl, Lara, whose professional and romantic life was a mess, until she was haunted by the ghost of her great-aunt Sadie, who was a flapper girl in the 1920s. Like everything by Kinsella I've read, it's hilarious and enjoyable, but my favourite thing about Twenties Girl is the fact that it focuses more on the relationship between the Lara and Sadie than the romance.

Sounds good! I like Sophie's books :)
That does sound like a fun book! I've never read Kinsella before and somehow assumed I wouldn't enjoy her, but I should probably reconsider, huh? :P
PS: Got anything interesting in the mail lately? Anything from, say, Portugal? :P
Hannah - It's good, although maybe I don't like it as much as Undomestic Goddess or the Shopaholic books.
Nymeth - It's a fun read, definitely. If you're trying her for the first time I suggest The Undomestic Goddess.
& thanks!
